Gear Up for Deathcon '26: Casting, Sustainability, and a Deep Dive Q&A!
The fog is rolling in, the stakes are rising, and the march toward Deathcon '26 is officially in high gear. We are hard at work behind the scenes to make this the most immersive (and responsible) event yet.

We are currently in the process of finalizing our cast! If you’ve been hovering over the "submit" button, this is your sign to click it. We’re looking for a few more dedicated players to round out the world and bring our narrative to life.

Lead the Way in Sustainable LARPing
This year, we are making a serious commitment to the environment. We believe that protecting the world we live in is just as important as the worlds we build. To make Deathcon '26 as "green" as possible, we’re implementing the following:
The Mess Kit Challenge: We will not be providing disposable plates, cups, or silverware. We encourage everyone to bring a reusable, In-Character (IC) mess kit. Not only does this save the planet, but it also looks way better in photos than a plastic fork!
Gear Up: We will be selling mess kits and encouraging merchants to sell their own offerings in this category.
Cleaner Power: We’re ditching noisy, heavy-polluting generators wherever possible in favor of high-capacity battery packs. When a generator is absolutely necessary, we are switching to propane to minimize our carbon footprint.
No Trace Camping: We practice and promote a "No Trace" policy. We’ll provide plenty of clearly marked trash and recycling bins throughout the site—please use them! Let's leave the woods looking even better than we found them.
