Hazebound Homestead: New Horizons, Better Prices, and Our Next Big Step!
Hey Haze Hollow family,
We know things have been tight lately. Between high gas prices and the general strain of the current economy, getting out to your favorite weekend escape hasn't gotten any easier. We hear you loud and clear. LARPing shouldn't be a luxury you have to stress over, and we want to do everything we can to keep our community together and playing.
Because of that, we have two massive, exciting updates to share regarding our upcoming event, Hazebound Homestead, and the future of Haze Hollow.
1. Lowering Prices & The Throwback Special
This past year has been nothing short of extraordinary for us, largely thanks to all of you. We pulled off an incredible Network event with Deathcon, welcoming players from all over the country to help us uncover buried secrets and save the world. Alongside that, we ran two spectacularly successful seasons of "The Rig," our seabound online adventure.
We couldn't have done it without your passion and dedication. In light of everything you’ve brought to this community this past year, we want to give something back where it counts:
Price Drop: We are permanently slashing our base ticket price from $85 down to $70.
The Throwback Special: For our November 16th premier event, Hazebound Homestead, we are rolling the clock all the way back. When our Logistics Director, Kyle, first started playing, tickets cost $45. Any player who purchases at least 3 of the 5 extra build options available to attendees will also get their base ticket for just $45!
2. Welcome to Bushkill Cabin: A Brand New Home
We are also thrilled to announce that we are moving to a brand-new site that is much closer to the majority of our player base, cutting down on those painful travel and gas costs!
Our new home is Bushkill Cabin, located right next to another site we’ve used in the past, Camp Firestone. Like Firestone, Bushkill centers around a massive, gorgeous central cabin, but with some massive upgrades:
Better Facilities: Bushkill features twice the number of bathrooms in the main cabin compared to Firestone, complete with working modern showers (no concrete floors!). In total, the site boasts 4 bathrooms and 3 kitchens.
More Space & Comfort: Alongside the main building, there are 2 dedicated structures serving as Operations and a Mod location. The main building includes closed rooms for quiet sleep needs, housing 38 bunks in total.
The Great Outdoors: Enjoy large, open, flat grounds for all your camping set-ups and a beautiful surrounding set of woods—with no treacherous cliffs like the ones at Firestone.
Easy Unloading: Ample parking is located just a few hundred yards down from the site. You'll be able to pull right up, unload your gear, park your vehicle, and hop into our director-driven taxi service to get ferried straight back to site!
We are stepping into this next chapter stronger, closer, and more accessible than ever. Thank you for making Haze Hollow the incredible community that it is.
